JAKARTA, October 10, 2026 — The Association of Indonesian Out of home Media Companies (AMLI) successfully held the INDOOH 2026 Strategic Forum on Friday, October 9, 2026, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. This event was made possible thanks to the facilities and full support of Krista Exhibitions (PT Kristamedia Pratama) as part of the international exhibition Indo Sign, LED & Advertising Expo 2026 / AllPrint Indonesia.
The strategic forum, themed “Shaping the Future of Indonesia’s OOH Industry: Global Insights, Local Transformation, & Industry Collaboration,” is a crucial momentum for accelerating the national out-of-home media industry through cross-sector collaboration, adoption of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) technology, strengthening research & data measurement, and integrating Programmatic Advertising.
The main session of the forum took place as follows:
1. Opening Reception & OOH Industry Direction

The event began with an opening session and remarks by Fabianus Bernadi, Chairman of the DPP AMLI. In his presentation on the OOH Industry Outlook, he emphasized the importance of technological adaptation and strengthening the out-of-home media ecosystem amidst changing consumer behavior and urban development in Indonesia.
“The transformation of the out-of-home industry isn’t just a transition from static boards to digital screens, but rather a fundamental shift from simply selling location to selling audience and experience. We must build measurement standards and a shared industry ecosystem so that Indonesian OOH can become a major player in the region,” Fabianus Bernadi emphasized.
2. Global Perspective & OOH Industry Trends

In Session 1 (Global & Local OOH Industry Update), Agung Prihambodo (Managing Director Indonesia at Billups, Vice Chairman of AMLI, and Ambassador of the World Out of Home Organization / WOO) delivered a presentation on the global and local OOH growth map. He highlighted the potential of the Indonesian OOH market, which reaches US$ 330 million (approximately Rp5.91 trillion) with digital penetration approaching 40%. However, the adoption of programmatic DOOH (pDOOH) in Indonesia is still below 1%.
“Indonesia has a very potential OOH market with digital penetration approaching 40%, but our pDOOH is still below 1%. We already have a massive digital screen infrastructure, now is the time to build programmatic infrastructure and a common measurement language so that our industry’s competitiveness is on par with global standards,” said Agung Prihambodo.
3. Creative Technology Innovation & Digital Media Integration

Session 2 (Creative Technology, Digital Media & DOOH) featured Dian Gemiano (CEO of KLY & Chairman of the Indonesia Digital Association / IDA). This session covered the convergence of physical and digital media, the role of AdTech, content interactivity, and leveraging measurable audience data to improve the effectiveness of omnichannel advertising campaigns.
“Indonesia doesn’t have a digital screen count problem; we have a proof problem. Smart screens are worthless if we can’t prove their effectiveness and audience. The IDA and AMLI collaboration aims to build three key components: verified industry reports, common measurement standards, and a pDOOH transaction framework,” said Dian Gemiano.
4. Signing of the AMLI – IDA Strategic MoU

The event culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Strategic Cooperation between AMLI (represented by Chairman Fabianus Bernadi) and IDA (represented by Chairman Dian Gemiano). This collaboration serves as a shared foundation for research development, cross-media measurement standards, DOOH programmatic integration, and human resource education in the national advertising industry.
5. Panel Discussion of Industry Practitioners

The forum series concluded with Session 3 (Panel Discussion: Shaping The Future of OOH Industry & Q&A Session) featuring practitioners from AMLI member companies, including Freddy Lauw, Founder of Prisma, Bong Stevian, CEO of Playlog, and Jhon Gunadi, Marketing Director of MKCI Bandung. This session presented data on OOH potential in areas outside Jakarta—where more than 90% of areas have DOOH penetration below 5%—and discussed measurement transparency and future business collaboration opportunities in the future.
Special Appreciation to Krista Exhibitions and Long-Term Collaboration Plans

As a form of respect for the established strategic partnership, AMLI presented the Award & Appreciation Certificate directly to Daud D. Salim, Co-founder, Owner, & CEO of Krista Exhibitions (PT Kristamedia Pratama) with his wife Christina Sudjie.
AMLI Chairman Fabianus Bernadi expressed his deepest gratitude to Krista Exhibitions for providing facilities and full support to AMLI to participate and synergize in the AllPrint Indonesia & Indo Sign Expo 2026 exhibition. The awarding of this charter also marks a long-term collaboration plan between AMLI and Krista Exhibitions to strengthen the presence and involvement of the off-home media industry in future Krista Exhibitions exhibitions.
